Why we collect your personal data
We want to give you the best possible service at Physio & Pilates Central. We hold data on you in order to contact you to confirm appointments and to liaise with other individuals involved in your care. We also send a monthly newsletter to our mailing list informing you of special offers, clinic news etc. You are able to unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time.
How we collect your data
We collect your data at your initial appointment with us and this information is held securely on our patient records system. Your clinical notes are stored securely for a period of up to eight years as required by law. All electronic data is password protected and only accessible by authorized individuals. We treat any information we hold with the upmost care and take appropriate steps to protect it.
When we will share your data
We only share your data with third parties who are involved in your care. These third parties include, GPs, specialist consultants, other clinicians or your health insurance provider. We never share personal data with a third party for marketing purposes.
Know your rights under GDPR
You have many rights regarding your personal data. These include, seeing what data we hold and updating or removing that data. There is nothing you need to do right now, but if you would like to find out more or submit a Subject Access Request under GDPR, please contact us.
